Whether you are just a beginner in the Cyber Security domain or a professional looking to practice your skills in Web Application, join us and take part in our 2nd edition of the CTF hosted at the Cybersec Netherlands conference with a chance to win prizes. This is your place to prove your skills or practice with realistic cyber security challenges.

A Capture the Flag (CTF) competition is a cybersecurity challenge where participants compete to solve various computer security problems in order to find "flags" (often strings of text). These flags represent the successful completion of a challenge and can be submitted to earn points.

The CTF at Cybersec Netherlands 2025 will be Jeporady style. This means there will be a bank of challenges which you can choose from.

This year the focus of the CTF will be Web Application Security (specifically OWASP TOP 10 vulnerbilities) and Network Forensics.

Yes. You need to bring your own laptop with pre installed software you would like to use (e.g Kali Linux).

The challenges this year are built for beginners and mid-level's. If we had to rate the challenges from 1-10, 1 being PicoCTF level and 10 being DefCon CTF level, we would rate them between 1-4.

The CTF will be 100% on-site. You will not be able to participate remotely.

Yes! The prizes will be announced at a later date for the top 3 teams.

The max team size is 4 people. You can sign up with as many members as you would like between 1-4 people in a team. If you want to compete yourself, you can create a team of 1.

Yes. When signing up to the CTF, you will be asked to state if you are already signed up to the Cybersec Netherlands conference. If you are not, we will send you a unique registration link after you complete the CTF sign up.
